Carmen Filbeck
Carmen serves as Director of Lanna Theological Center. Carmen also travels and speaks for the ministry. While in the USA she is based in Joplin MO.
David and Sharon Filbeck
David and Sharon teach at Lanna Theological Center. David serves as the Chairperson of the Youth Development Foundation of Chiang Mai which is the umbrella organization registered with the Thai government.
Subin and Deo have been with LTC for 12 years. Subin is Northern Thai from Nan Province. He is a graduate of LTC. Subin teaches Bible and practical ministry courses.
Deo is from the Karen tribe. She attended LTC before marrying Subin her sophomore year. Deo is the LTC cook and is a a whiz at cooking on a small budget.
Hawm is from the Lua Tribe and has been with LTC for most of 12 years. Hawm came to LTC as a 16 year who had never been outside of the village. She completed her high school education while attending LTC. Later, she attended the University night program and graduated with a BA in psychology. Hawm teaches freshmen courses. Hawm is married to LTC graduate, Nopachai. They have two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Honey
Surachai (Bus) and Sangla (Sara) serve as the Girl's Dorm supervisors. Surachai is a 2012 graduate of LTC. He joined the staff in 2015 and currently serves as Dean of Students. Sangla graduated in 2018 and is LTC's Librarian.
Wanchai is a 2012 Graduate of LTC. He joined the staff in 2015 and serves as Boy's dorm supervisor and Academic Dean. Wanchai is engaged and plans to marry in October, 2019.
Wyu and his wife Nam are 2015 graduate of LTC. Following graduation, Wyu and Nam decided to plant a church in a suburb of Chiang Mai targeting an different ethnic group then themselves. Wyu joined the LTC staff in 2017 as part time grounds keeper, director of work study and part time teacher.
Supanai started as an adjunct professor in 2014. He came on full time in 2017.
Supanai's wife is a 2007 graduate of LTC. They have 3 children, two daughters and a son. He is currently serving as Dean of Public Relations.
Fun serves as the LTC administrative assistance. Simply put... we could not survive without her. Her grace, gentleness, integrity and wisdom are beyond measure. She is a true blessing to all staff and students. Fun and her husband have one son and another one on the way.
Bandit and Mai are long time friends of LTC. From 2003--2012 they served as dorm parents to the boy's dorm and Bandit was LTC's OT professor. From 2012-2018, they took some time to study English and focus on evangelism among Bandit's language group, the Lahu Chale. They rejoined the staff in 2018. Bandit is full time professor and Mai is adjunct, teaching Freshmen English.
Boyd: Boyd joined the faculty immediately following his graduation from LTC in 2018. He came to LTC after working as a free-lance media consultant for Christian Broadcast Network and Freedom Films. During his time at Freedom Films he was challenged to start a church plant among the deaf community of Chiang Mai. He accepted the call, quit his job and enrolled in LTC. His backgrounding media made him a prime candidate for the LTC staff. He currently serves as LTC Recruiter, media consultant, and professor. In addition he and his wife Tuu continue to lead in evangelistic outreach into the Deaf Community.
