Why Leadership Training?
Because Leaders Matter

In Acts 20:28-31, Paul gives his last set of instructions to the elders of the Ephesian Church. He tells them, "Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. ........I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you........so be on your guard!"
When churches lack leaders who are trained, they fall prey to false teaching, worldly and cultural values and philosophies. Without good teaching, it is easy to be deceived.

Because the Church is growing

Did you know that there is an average of 178,000 people coming to Christ daily around the world? That is great news! But here is the not so great news........
85% of Churches of the world are led by people who have no training in theology or practical ministry. Leaders from every non-western region say that their number one need is leadership training.

Because the proclamation of God's Word is serious business!

In 2 Timothy 2:15, Paul tells Timothy, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of Truth."
Paul emphasizes the responsibility of those who would serve. The Bible can not be diluted or weakened by shallow, foolish interpretation or conclusions. The proclamation of God's Word is serious business.
At LTC we take that responsibility seriously. It is our aim to build strong leaders who will build strong churches.
